How does your event visitor obtain its tickets?

Tickets through Paylogic can be obtained in several manners:

Hard copy tickets (by mail, online, phone line and retail shops)

For years people were used to the hardcopy tickets for events, these often beautiful tickets have a strong emotional and therefore marketing value to event visitors. Although productions costs might be high it is still a strongly desired form of tickets, especially for more expensive events. Paylogic offers to sell Paylogic designed ticket but can also fulfil branded and pre-created tickets for event companies.

Tickets are delivered by regular mail, but when velocity is required, also courier and express delivery are optional.

Print at home tickets (online and phone line)

The new upcoming way of ticketing is e-ticketing or more clearly stated print-at-home ticketing. These print-at-home tickets are ordered online and after the payment is settled send directly as attachment to an e-mail to the event visitor. This form of ticketing is not only a lot quicker and cheaper for the consumer and the event company, it also has many other benefits.

As the tickets are sent directly, the online presale can be opened until the start of the event. Actually, the sales can event continues during the event. When there is an only connecting while scanning, the Paylogic scan system, can still import newly sold tickets during the scanning process, allowing ticket sales to continue until potentially the last minute of the event.

Besides that the pdf ticket can be easily adjusted per type of ticket, the design can vary; puzzles for kids, brands for sponsored tickets, VIP-design for tickets sold through campaigns. When a new ticket is designed a new target group can be reached more appropriately. The ticket is the first step in communication and thus of enjoying the event en before it started.

Mobile tickets (online)

The other innovation on forms of ticketing is the SMS-ticket. Paylogic offers this proposition the consumers who adapted the mobile phone as a good instrument for this. As can be seen from the airliners, mobile ticketing is booming; people find it user friendly, a quick method and always at hand. As youngsters nowadays don’t like waiting for mail or even do not possess a printer, this method has clear benefits.

Nevertheless it is still a young market and will only cover a small group of event visitors, to keep up with the technologies an event companies in 2010 should offer this method to its customers.

Paylogic will be investing in more advanced mobile opportunities for events which will be presented in 2011. Activities as buying tickets with the mobile phone, using app’s as event guides and sponsoring tool.

Box office solution (hard copy tickets)

Paylogic developed its own box office solution, a solution which allows event companies to sell tickets at the event location. This software program is called Ticketware and can be downloaded from the Back Office. When this system is connected to a professional (hard copy) printer it is able to print tickets. This can be done by the people at de front of the event. With this cash register sales tool event presale and event door sale are easily used to sell more tickets and making the scanning process easier and safer as any visitor uses the same type of ticket.
