Privacy Policy
Paylogic respects your privacy. By government regulations it is mandatory for us to collect a set of personal data in combination with a financial transaction. Though, in respect to your privacy we have made a great effort to minimize this amount to as little as legally possible. Paylogic takes the privacy of your personal information very seriously and will use your information only in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information or a list of our customers to third parties. However, as described in more detail in Part C below, there are limited circumstances in which some of your information will be shared with third parties, under strict restrictions.
This statement regarding the privacy of the personally identifiable information you provide online to Paylogic covers six main areas: (A) Knowledge, (B) Information We Collect, (C) Our Use and Disclosure of Information, (D) Information Security, (E) Accessing and Changing Your Information, and (F) Contacting Us.
A. Knowledge
Paylogic provides this Privacy Policy Statement and other policy statements to make you aware of our privacy policy and practices and of the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
Paylogic, legally part of the Accepté B.V., will be revert to as "we" or "Paylogic" in this document. This document is applicable on the internet domain: www.paylogic.nl.
By accepting the Privacy Policy Statement in registration, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in the manner described in this Privacy Policy Statement. This Privacy Policy Statement is incorporated into and subject to the terms of the Paylogic User Agreement. This Privacy Policy will take effect on October 1, 2005. This Privacy Policy Statement was last updated on May 4, 2006. Please note that your information will be stored on servers located in The Netherlands. Therefore, the use of this information is restricted and regulated by Dutch law.
B. Information We Collect
Required Information
In order to make a financial transaction through our website, we are obligated to ask you for the following personal information: first name, last name, address, zip code, city and country. In order to contact you for notification of the status of your transaction, or for sending you your requested Tickets, we will request you for your e-mail address.
Additional information
On request of our customers, it is possible we will request you for more personal information or preferences. These requests can both be mandatory as non-mandatory. On request of our customers it is possible to refuse your registration when you fail to provide all mandatory information and/or preferences.
Internet Traffic Information
Because of the way that World Wide Web communication standards work, when you arrive at or leave the Paylogic website, we automatically receive the Web address of the site that you came from or are going to. When these addresses are not part of the Paylogic website, we do not use them. We also collect information on which pages you visit while you are on our website, IP address, the type of browser you use, possible error messages that may occur, and the times you access our website. We use this information only to try to understand our client’s preferences better, so as to improve our service.
Our Use of "Cookies"
"Cookies" are small files of data that reside on your computer and allow us to recognize you if you return to our website using the same computer and browser. We send a "session cookie" to your computer if and when you enter our website. These cookies allow us to recognize you if you visit multiple pages in our site during the same session, so that you don't need to re-enter your personal information multiple times. These cookies consist of a string of 25+ characters, randomly selected, to help us identify you. Once you log out or close your browser, these session cookies expire and no longer have any effect.
C. Our Use and Disclosure of Information
Internal Uses
We collect, store and process your personal information on servers located in The Netherlands. We use the information we collect about you in order (a) to provide our Services and process your transactions, (b) to provide customer service, and (c) to improve our Services.
We give access to individually identifiable information about our users only to those employees who require it to fulfill customer service requests.
Disclosure to Third Parties
Paylogic will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to third parties. Paylogic will not share any of your personally identifiable information with third parties except those described below, and in the limited circumstances described below. These third parties are limited by law or by contract from using the information for secondary purposes beyond the purposes for which the information is shared. Paylogic can share your collected personal information with the following parties:
- Docdata Payments Docdata is our Payment Service Provider who handles all financial transactions of Paylogic. In order to handle your transaction, a portion of your personal information we collected will be shared with this party.
- Mollie B.V. Mollie is our SMS Service Provider. When you provide us with your mobile telephone number, and on request of our customer, we will share this information with this party in order to send you a text message. All text messages we send are free of charge for the receiver.
a) We disclose all available (personal) information that we in good faith believe is appropriate to cooperate in investigations of fraud or other illegal activity, or to conduct investigations of violations of our User Agreement. b) We disclose information in response to a subpoena, warrant, court order, levy, attachment, order of a court appointed receiver or other comparable legal process, including subpoenas from private parties in a civil action. c) We disclose information to your agent or legal representative (such as the holder of a power of attorney that you grant, or a guardian appointed for you). d) We share aggregated statistical data with our business partners or for public relations. For example, we may disclose that a specific percentage of our clients use a certain payment method. However, this aggregated information is not tied to personally identifiable information. e) As with any other business, it is possible that Paylogic in the future could merge with or be acquired by another company. If such an acquisition occurs, the successor company would have access to the information maintained by Paylogic, including customer account information, but would continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy Statement. f) We share your information with our parent, subsidiaries and joint ventures to help coordinate the services we provide to you, enforce our terms and conditions, and promote trust and safety. g) In order to provide our service to our customers, we share your transaction status information and transaction identifications with our customer you are paying. We do not share bank account or credit card information. h) In order to provide our service to our customers, we share your personal identifiable information with our customers, both required information and additional information. We do not share bank account or credit card information.
Our Contacts with our Clients
Paylogic will not use your personal information to contact you in other cases than changing status of Purchasing Rights, confirm the opening of your Paylogic account, notification of Payment status, Payment error, or Payment fraud.
D. Information Security
Paylogic is committed to handling your customer information with high standards of information security. We do NOT collect, nor store credit card and bank account information. We restrict access to your personally identifiable information to employees who need to know that information in order to provide our Services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. We test our security systems regularly.
The security of your Paylogic account also relies on your protection of your Paylogic password. You may not share your Paylogic password with anyone. We will never ask you to send your password or other sensitive information to us in an e-mail, though we may ask you to enter this type of information on the Paylogic website.
All transactions of (personal) information data, both to you as third parties, is done through secure channels (SSL protocols). We urge you to verify the authenticity of the installed certificates to ensure the safety of the connection to our servers.
E. Accessing and Changing Your Information
You can review the personal information you provided us and make any desired changes to such information, or to the settings for your Paylogic account, at any time by logging in to your account on a Paylogic website and changing your preferences in the Profile page.
